Partnership Membership
The Partnership started a continuous formal process to add new partners interested in conducting education/training, research, and assistance activities at its annual meeting October 19th in Fort Worth, Texas. The expansion will increase cultural and geographic diversity to meet the growing demand for sustainable forest management information and application.
There are two types of Partnership participants: members and affiliate members.
SFP members shall be national and internation institutions of higher education (i.e. colleges and universities). Institutions may have more than one participating unit (i.e., department, college, center) and multiple individual participants. However, for voting purposes, each institution will have one vote. Each Member shall designate an institional coordinator who will serve as the primary representative to the SFP and will cast votes.
SFP affiliate members are those non-academic institutions and organizations who share common purposes and goals, and may include funders, for-profit and non-profit organizations, and government agencies (local, state, and federal).
If you are interested in joining SFP, please contact Laurie Schoonhoven.
