The Sustainable Forests Partnership (SFP) documents and promotes innovation in sustainable forests and communities and assists others to integrate innovation broadly into both policy and practice.

The SFP began at Oregon State University in 1995 and has grown to include faculty from member institutions and individuals from affiliate organizations. The SFP engages an expanding network of partners including university faculty, industry experts, nongovernment organization representatives, government agencies, and landowners.
